Somatic Breathwork for Nervous System Regulation & Release
Release stress, anxiety, and emotional tension through guided somatic breathwork sessions.
For the moments when you look fine on the outside, but internally feel overwhelmed, anxious, disconnected, or emotionally exhausted.
When words are no longer enough, and the body is asking to be heard.
Somatic breathwork sessions support nervous system regulation, emotional release, and deep reconnection to the body—helping you shift out of chronic stress patterns and into greater clarity, presence, and internal steadiness.
Sessions are offered 1:1, for couples, and in small and large groups.
This work is grounded in science-backed, body-based methods that support lasting change in the nervous system when practiced consistently—helping individuals reduce stress, improve focus, and build sustainable energy for daily life and long-term performance.
Healing does not begin by forcing yourself to “feel better.” It begins when the body finally feels safe enough to soften what it has been holding.
Explore the pages below to learn more about this work and whether it may support you.
The Somatic Approach
Somatic breathwork is a body‑based approach that uses conscious breathing to help your nervous system release stored stress and emotion. Instead of talking about what’s happening, we include your body—breath, sensation, and gentle movement—as part of the healing process.
In session, we slow down and listen to what your body is holding: tightness, numbness, pressure, or waves of feeling. Together, we create enough safety for those patterns to soften, move, and complete.
This work can support emotional release, stress reduction, deeper self‑awareness, and a more grounded sense of safety in your body, so you can feel more present, connected, and alive in your everyday life.
How The Body Holds Experience
Your body remembers what your mind tries to move past.
The tightness, buzzing, or heaviness you feel are all ways it speaks.
Breathwork gives those places space to soften, move, and slowly unwind—instead of being pushed down, managed, or ignored.
What Happens in This Work
In session, we slow down and listen to your body together.
You’ll be guided with breath, somatic cues, and choice throughout the process.
You might notice warmth, tingling, emotion, or a sense of relief.
Nothing is forced. We follow what feels true and safe for you, moment by moment.
Is this work right for you?
Somatic breathwork can create a significant physical and emotional shift, which means it isn’t the right fit for everyone. For your safety, it is not recommended if you have a history of:
• Cardiovascular issues, heart disease, or uncontrolled high blood pressure
• Glaucoma or retinal detachment
• Recent surgery or significant physical injury
• Severe mental illness or psychiatric instability
• Seizures or osteoporosis
• Acute infectious illnesses
• Pregnancy (due to physiological changes from varied breathing rates)
Asthma: This is not a contraindication, but please bring your inhaler and talk with your doctor first.
If you have any underlying medical or psychiatric conditions, please consult a healthcare professional before joining. You’ll review a full waiver with detailed safety information before booking. When in doubt, always check with your provider.

Who This Is For
This work supports people who feel something in their inner or emotional life is asking for attention, even if they cannot fully name it yet.
Feeling Stuck or Repetitive in Life
Emotional Intensity or Suppressed Emotion
You may notice yourself repeating the same emotional dynamics, thought loops, or life patterns. Somatic breathwork offers a body‑based way to shift what has felt stuck, creating space for new internal and external responses.
This space supports the safe expression of emotions that may have been held back, minimized, or stored in the body. Somatic breathwork allows what is ready to be felt to move through in a supported way.
Carrying Long-Term Stress or Tension
Chronic Tension or Nervous System Activation
For those navigating anxiety, burnout, or a quiet sense of disconnection, this work supports a return to grounded presence. The focus is not to manage stress better, but to help the system settle and reorganize from within.
If your body feels consistently tight, alert, or overworked, somatic breathwork supports the nervous system in releasing deeper patterns of stored activation and restoring a sense of internal safety.
This work is for you if you feel ready to meet yourself with honesty and presence, rather than bypassing what is here.
Many people naturally sense whether they’re ready for a group space or a 1:1 container, depending on how much support and depth they’re needing.
What You Might Be Experiencing
Many people arrive to this work not because something is “wrong,” but because something inside no longer feels sustainable in the way it has been held. You may function well on the outside, while internally there is a very different experience happening.
You might notice:
-
A sense of being “on” much of the time
Even when nothing is technically wrong, there can be a background feeling of alertness, pressure, or responsibility that doesn’t fully switch off.
-
A mind that understands—but a body that still reacts
You may have insight into your patterns, yet still find yourself repeating emotional responses, tension states, or relational dynamics that feel hard to shift.
-
Difficulty fully relaxing, even in rest
Rest may exist physically, but internally there is still activity—thinking, scanning, processing, or holding.
-
Emotional containment or overwhelm
At times, emotions may feel held in or muted. At other times, they may rise quickly or feel difficult to stay with.
-
A quiet sense of carrying more than you can process
Not always obvious, but felt as tension, fatigue, disconnection, or internal heaviness.
None of this is a personal flaw. These are patterns of adaptation—ways the nervous system has learned to keep you functioning, safe, and moving through life.
If this feels familiar, you’re not alone. You can book a Discovery Call to explore whether this work is a fit for you.
Why This Work
The nervous system is the foundation of how we experience life—how we think, feel, respond, and connect. When your nervous system has more capacity, everything else in life becomes easier to meet. When it’s under chronic stress or dysregulation, it shapes emotional patterns, relationships, and your sense of safety within yourself.
This isn’t something we override through mindset alone. The body has to be included in the process.
Somatic breathwork works directly with the body and nervous system, supporting a return to regulation through embodied awareness and conscious breath. Rather than “fixing” anything, this work supports the system in completing stress cycles that were once too overwhelming to process. This creates space for greater presence, clarity, and a more grounded way of being in daily life.
At the heart of this work is connection—connection to the body, to ourselves, and to the human experience beneath survival patterns.
When we begin to feel safer within ourselves, we often notice subtle but meaningful shifts:
-
Responding instead of reacting
-
More ease in relationships
-
Less internal noise
-
A greater sense of choice in how we move through life
This is not about becoming a different person—it is about returning to yourself, with more capacity to be with life as it is. Over time, this internal shift changes how we relate to stress, emotion, and connection with others. When safety is felt in the body, life is no longer only managed—it is experienced more fully.
Meet Your Practitioner
My name is Angela. I am a certified somatic breathwork practitioner and life coach supporting individuals through nervous system regulation, emotional release, and embodied healing.
My work is rooted in presence, attunement, and the intelligence of the body. Through breath‑based sessions, I guide clients in gently meeting and moving stored stress, emotional patterns, and internal tension—creating space for greater clarity, grounding, and connection to self. This is not a process of fixing or analyzing the self, but of creating the conditions where the nervous system can reorganize in its own time, and the body can return to its natural capacity for regulation and balance.
My own lived experience with long‑term stress, overwhelm, and nervous system shutdown is what shaped this work. There was a season where I looked “fine” on the outside while feeling wired, exhausted, and far from myself inside. Finding somatic work gave my body a way to slowly come back into connection and safety—and that’s the kind of space I now offer others.
This is why I prioritize a space that is steady, attuned, and respectful of pace—where nothing is forced, and everything moves at the speed of your system. In our work together, we move slowly and with a lot of choice. I’ll always invite, never push, so your body sets the pace for each session.
Clients often describe the experience as feeling more like being met than being worked on. This is the foundation of the work I offer.
